In January 2018, the St Pete Women’s Collective will partner with Tampa-based Debonair District for our first “Big Talk Dinner.” Sixteen diverse Bay area residents will share a meal and real talk about race, gender, and sexuality in America with the intention of connection, insight, and the birth of action toward making our community a better and safer place to live for marginalized people.
Inspired by the Kalina Silverman’s “Big Talk” project, SPWC and Debonair District will address big problems needing big solutions -- with big appetites and big conversations. A videographer will capture the evening and we will share our insights within the broader community, with hopes of growing our table to include more Big Talk Dinners across the Bay.
